A specific method of estimation is described for mechlorethamine which has application for a number of other alkylating agents. Experiments were performed on blood levels, urinary excretion, and the tissue distribution of mechlorethamine in dogs. The drug rapidly disappeared from plasma, and less than 0.01 per cent was excreted in the urine. The concentration of the drug in tissues was very low, the maximum being observed in bone marrow.
