Studies on Estimation of Catalase Activity by the Use of Titanium Sulfate

An improved method for the determination of catalase activity is described; it is a modification of the method of Patti and Bonet-Maury (21). The new method depends on the colorimetric determination of the yellow complex formed by titanium sulfate and H2O2, and eliminates some of the complications of the titration methods previously used.
