The distribution of WBC antigens in patients with malignant neoplasia was compared to that of normal persons (controls). The incidence of 3 out of the 10 antigens examined showed a statistically significant difference between the 2 groups of people. This work suggests that the distribution of the histocompatibility antigens of patients with cancer may not be identical to those of healthy individuals.
1 Part of this project was supported by a grant from the Israeli Cancer Association.
