Steroid-induced Increase in Survival of Tumor-bearing Rats1

2{alpha}-Methyl-17ß-hydroxy-5{alpha}-androstan-3-one significantly increased the survival time of rats bearing mammary fibro adenomas. The extent of survival was related to the hormone responsiveness of the tumor.
