Immunology of the Mouse Mammary Tumor Virus (MTV): Identification in Vitro of Mouse Antibodies against MTV1

By use of the in vitro immunodiffusion assay, antibodies against the mouse mammary tumor virus (MTV) have been demonstrated in some of the sera obtained from mice immunized with extracts or implants of MTV-containing tissues and/or challenged with MTV-containing mammary tumor tissue.
