The Germ-free Laboratory, Department of Surgery, University of Utah College of Medicine, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112
Germ-free C3H/Pi mice were compared with their conventional counterparts (C3Hf/Pi) with regard to the development of mammary tumors. The incidence of mammary tumors in both populations was virtually identical.
