Experimental Investigations with 1-(Morpholinomethyl)-4-phthalimidopiperidindione-2,6 and Drostanolone Propionate in Dimethylbenzanthracene-induced Tumors of Sprague-Dawley Rats

The survival time of rats with 7,12-dimethylbenzanthracene-induced tumors is significantly increased by treatment with the combination of the cyclic imide 1-(morpholinomethyl)-4-phthalimido-piperidindione-2,6 and drostanolone propionate (2-methyl dihydrotestosterone propionate). In long-term treatment the antitumor activity, determined by the number of the tumor centers, is likewise significantly increased compared with the effect of the combination components alone.
