The growth of Ehrlich tumors has been inhibited by 17 isocyanates injected i.p. in peanut oil. Eight isocyanates increase mean survival times. Two isocyanates, active in peanut oil, are inactive when dispersed in 0.85% NaCl solutions. The isocyanates hence become a new class of cancer inhibitors.
