The Failure of Methotrexate to Inhibit Chicken Fibroblast Proliferation in a Serum-containing Culture Medium¹

Methotrexate (1 µM) abolishes the proliferation of chicken fibroblasts in a culture medium containing defibrinogenated chicken plasma but does not affect proliferation in a medium containing chicken serum.
