K-ras Codon 12 and 13 Mutation-Induced Metabolic Phenotypes

In the article on K-ras codon 12 and 13 mutation-induced metabolic phenotypes in the July 1, 2005 issue of Cancer Research (1), human fibroblasts were mistakenly referred to in the title and Materials and Methods section. The studies were performed in mice cells. The title should have read "K-ras Codon-Specific Mutations Produce Distinctive Metabolic Phenotypes in NIH3T3 Mice Fibroblasts." In the Materials and Methods, the text should have read "The NIH3T3 cell line is from a mice-derived fibroblast progeny (Mus musculus)."
