Inhibition of Murine Breast Cancer Using Dietary {alpha}-TEA

In Response: In the article on inhibition of murine breast cancer using dietary {alpha}-TEA in the October 1, 2006 issue of Cancer Research (1), the fifth sentence of the paragraph entitled "Oral administration of Vá-TEA inhibits tumor growth in vivo" on page 9376 should have read as follows: When given by daily oral gavage, the esterase-resistant V{alpha}-TEA significantly inhibited the tumor growth rate (P = 0.017) and reduced the average tumor volume 1.6-fold to 447 ± 121 mm3 (P < 0.001) compared with PBS-treated mice (699 ± 66 mm3).
