1 as a tumor suppressor in ESCC in the November 15, 2007 issue of Cancer Research (1), the first two sentences of the paragraph entitled "Cell lines and primary tumor specimens" on page 10720 should have read as follows: Chinese ESCC cell line HKESC1 was kindly provided by Professor Srivastava (Department of Pathology, The University of Hong Kong) and two immortalized esophageal cell lines (NE1 and NE3) and two Chinese ESCC cell lines (EC18 and EC109) were kindly provided by Professor Tsao (Department of Anatomy, The University of Hong Kong).
