SKOV3 ovarian cancer cells were transfected with human APC2 and stained for APC2 (green) and actin (red). Exogenous and endogenous APC2 colocalizes with regions of the Golgi apparatus and with actin filaments at the leading edge of breast and ovarian cancer cells. A marked imbalance of the APC2 gene locus occurs in ovarian cancer specimens. For details, see the article by Jarrett et al. on p. 7978 in this issue.
