Summary
The uptake of 86Rb at intervals between 20 sec and 15 min after i.v. injection was measured in three types of transplanted mouse tumor to investigate the potentialities of the method for estimating relative tumor blood perfusion. A plateau of 86Rb uptake was found over a period of at least 90 sec in the three types of tumor so the method appeared to be valid for them. The 86Rb extraction (blood perfusion) was significantly less in the two sarcomas than in the carcinoma.
