  • NOTE: Cells were isolated by flow cytometry as described in Fig. 1 based on expression of the combinations of the indicated markers and assayed for the ability to form tumors after injection into the subcutaneum of the flank of NOD/SCID mice at 100, 500, 103, and 104 cells per injection. Mice were examined for tumor formation by palpation and subsequent autopsy. The analysis was completed 16 wks following injection. Data are expressed as number of tumors formed/number of injections. P values are listed comparing tumor formation for each marker at different cell dilutions.
